Hi, I’m a friend of Kelley’s which is how I heard about this blog. I’m also a childbirth educator and a doula (labor coach) and I’ve seen first hand the agony that can accompany childbirth. I’ve experienced the horror of watching a mom and dad say “hello” and “goodbye” to their baby in what feels like the same breath. I’m so terribly sorry for the loss of your little Theo. My heart is aching for yours. I’m confident that so much healing is going to take place because of this blog – it will help you and countless others process the unimaginable grief of losing a baby. Keep posting. Keep fighting through the intensely deep ache that must accompany each word you type so that you’ll continue to process. Thank you for introducing Theo to all of us and for keeping his memory alive by blogging about his precious life.
Thank you, so very much. This has been hard to start. And then to keep writing.
I am so grateful for your encouragement.
